There are so many times when I have said to myself and others if I only lose weight, find the time to do the things that make me happy, if all my credit cards were paid off, if I was a better parent and partner then life would be great then I would be less stress and a more fulfilled person. Instead, I feel like I am running in place and getting nowhere. I feel like I am not living the life I have always envisioned for myself and for my family. Well - I am tired of making excuses, I am tired of being all talk and no action. So today is my Independence Day! Today is the day I take control back over my life and set the course instead of letting circumstances and letting others dictate the course of my life. Living Changerously is what I am going to do. I know making all these changes - all at once - is a lot to undertake but I think I am ready for the challenge. And I am ready to be accountable to this blog.
So here is my plan, every week I am going to update how things are going.
Monday is Weight Loss / Fitness Monday. I will update as to where I am at with my weight loss, eating habits, fitness progress and share any recipes, food and fitness finds.
Tuesdays are Crafty Tuesdays. I will update as to what I have done during the week to develop the crafty side of my brain. Right now I am taking on sewing. But I would love to explore taking better pictures.
Wednesdays are Family Wednesdays. I will update how the week has gone with my kids and my husband.
Thursdays are Green Thursdays. I really would like to try and incorporate more ways me and my family can do things for the environment and how we can make these changes in our house.
Fridays are Finance Fridays. I can't think of a better way to end the week than by discussing my spending and what I have done, or not done, to save money and pay down my debt. (This one is going to be the hardest and the one I cannot fail at)
Ideally, I would like the weekends to be reserved for Web Recommendation weekend. I really enjoy reading and visiting so many blogs and websites and I want to spread the word. So, I hope to highlight those blogs and websites I visit daily.
There you have it. My blueprint. My goals. Not only for this blog but for taking my life back and living a simpler and healthier and hopefully in the end - lean, healthy and debt free. And if that happens, then....well...who knows.
